Local SEO for Tradies. Own the Suburbs You Work.

Nearly every trade search has "near me" in it, and Google answers with a map and three businesses. Local SEO is the work that puts you in those three, across the suburbs you actually want to drive to.

What is local SEO for a tradie?

Local SEO gets a trade business into Google's map and into searches with a place attached, like "painter near me" or "roofer Penrith". The map weighs how relevant you look, how close you are and how established you seem, so the work goes into your Google listing, a page for each job you want more of, reviews, and your details matching everywhere online.

What's on the job list

A service area you really cover

Set to where you'll actually drive, not a whole city you'd turn down half of.

A page for each job, not each suburb

Gutter repair, reroofing and leak repair are different searches. One page each, with your photos.

Name, phone and licence lined up

The same business name, number and licence number across your site, your listing and the directories.

Reviews after every job

A text with a link on the day you finish, so the flow never dries up.

Map checks across your area

How you show from different suburbs, because one reading from your own street always flatters you.

Calls linked to the source

Each call and form tied to the page or listing behind it, so you know what's paying.

Why a page for every suburb won't win you the map

Google's map leans hard on distance. A business 25 km away rarely beats a comparable one nearby on a "near me" search, and fifty suburb pages with the name swapped won't change that. They can drag the rest of your site down instead.

What does work further out is a strong page for the job, with photos of ones you've done. Someone with a big job will look past the nearest name to find a tradie who's clearly done it before. We plan the map and the job pages separately, and get your home patch right first.

Local SEO for tradies, answered

I work from home. Can I still show on the map?

Yes. Hide your address in the Google listing and set a service area instead. Don't use a mate's shop or a virtual office address: that's the quickest way to a suspended listing.

How many suburb pages should I have?

Usually none, or a handful where you've done enough work to show it. One page per job you want more of does far more. The thirty-suburb template a web company sold you is more likely to hold you back than help.

How long until I show on the map?

If the listing is already verified, fixing it properly and getting reviews coming can move things within a few months. New listings, crowded trades and big cities take longer. We'll tell you what's realistic for your trade and area in the audit.

Who's getting the jobs you're missing?

Give us the address of your site. You'll get the three things we'd change first, ranked, and the names of the businesses taking your spot on the map.
